Android Video Player is a media player built on the ExoPlayer library, providing extensive support for a variety of audio formats, including AC3, EAC3, DTS, DTS HD, and TrueHD. It seamlessly synchronizes audio with video when using Bluetooth audio devices.

Supported formats:

 <li>Video: H.263, H.264 AVC (Baseline Profile; Main Profile on Android 6+), H.265 HEVC, MPEG-4 SP, VP8, VP9, AV1</li>
 <li>Containers: MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, Ogg, MPEG-TS, MPEG-PS, FLV</li>
 <li>Streaming: DASH, HLS, SmoothStreaming, RTSP</li>

The app supports HDR video playback (including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision) on compatible hardware.

To load external subtitles in non-embedded formats, users can long-press the file open action in the bottom bar. Initial setup prompts users to select a root video folder for automatic loading of external subtitles.
